OK, Yes, I got my tongue pierced. I love it! No, I didn't get it for the reason you think. I got it because I wanted to, and like the aspect of going against the odds.
Norwescon picnic today was cool. Got to seem my seasonal friends. always a good thing. Out showed the guys how to throw a football, getting back to my tom-boy roots. I loved that too. Although now I am paying for it. In lots of pain, but it will pass.
Speaking of pain... until today, my over all pain levels have dropped. Taking less of the uber pain meds. This is a plus in my book.
And finally, I am going to Colorado for a week to help my sister. It is going to be full of drama, and the first time I have been away from my baby girl for more then 24 hours. I have a funny feeling that I am going to end up with activegnome
's family before I leave, based on my families history. I have not seen any of my family is 5-7 years or more. And I might even see my brother whom I have not seen or talked to in over 15 years. I leave Thursday morning. I am going to feel so out of place, and miss everyone at the house greatly. *la sigh*
and now....back to your regularly scheduled program.
